Someone once asked me, "How long does a moment last?"

In pondering that idea, I came to realize that a moment is something held dear to the beholder. A memory -- a time in their life when something remarkable happens. From the beginning of a newborn's life to his first steps, first school year, first girlfriend and first time he achieved his own goals whether it be a game-winning touchdown or a prize-winning science project.

Each of us has our own moments, our own golden memories that define the character of who we are.

I have spent more than 10 years defining those moments for people through my artwork that I was fortunate enough to have printed in newspapers and magazines throughout the Southeast. My client base includes major newspapers like the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Chicago Tribune and the Los Angeles Times as well as community papers like the Wilmington N.C. StarNews where I contract my services at now. I have also been fortunate enough to work for Sports Illustrated, ESPN The Magazine, NPR, MSNBC, The Associated Press, Getty Images and recently worked on a Sea Turtle project with non-profit organization Oceana.

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Georgia and am an alum of the Eddie Adams Photography Workshop, where I honed my talent as a visual artist and storyteller.

The greatest idea about moments: They can be captured with a camera.

In the hands of a professional, your moment will come to Life again and again, making it everlasting.
